Our School

Warm, Welcoming and Creative

Diverse, innovative, quality, fun, exploratory. These are just a few words that can describe the learning environment at Cambridge Early Learning Center, Nashville's newest pre-k program. Located in the former Southeast Branch of the Nashville Public Library, our brand-new school offers a warm and welcoming environment for families.

At Cambridge, we use Creative Curriculum, a research-based preschool curriculum that uses exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Our curriculum teaches more than ABCs and 123s; it also includes building confidence, creativity and lifelong critical thinking skills. Our program also incorporates Social Emotional Learning, an area of development that will build the self-esteem that will support and encourage the student throughout their academic career and beyond.

In addition to our comprehensive curriculum that helps develop the whole child, Cambridge also boasts a number of extracurricular programs that your child is sure to enjoy. Plant the Seed provides trained garden facilitators to work with children and their teachers in small groups so that each child has weekly garden time. As part of Plant the Seed, children also help harvest-and eat-the fruits and vegetables we grow. Global Education, meanwhile, is a music program that uses the arts of diverse cultures to foster awareness, understanding and acceptance.
